2019 Student Journalist of the Year Entry Form

JEA Missouri Student Journalist of the Year

The Missouri Student Journalist of the Year competition is one that annually honors the top student journalist from the state of Missouri. JEA members can each submit a portfolio for one student for this annual honor. A judge will sort through all of the applications and will select one winner for this year’s contest.

The deadline for this year’s contest will be February 22nd, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. Late entries will not be accepted.

The winner of the MJEA SJOY competition will move forward to the statewide contest as the MJEA candidate.

The Missouri Student Journalist of the Year competition is one that annually honors the top student journalist from the state of Missouri. The judge rotates to qualified candidates from around the country who have ample experience in scholastic journalism.
